I hope all is well for you, that you are starting your week right. It is best to put this simply, Jessica and I — the staff of In Our Words, are taking a hiatus.
To bring a new asethetic to our interface, to give us a chance to reach out to more writers as well as have writers contribute, to revisit our core tenents, and this give site the attention it deserves, we are shortly stepping away.
We remain devoted to In Our Words; we love the writers, as well as believe in keeping a space for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Gender Non-Conforming, Feminist, and Queer (in many senses) writers and artists. We hope you understand the reasons or need we have for this break. Please continue sending in work, and stay in contact.
